About the team:
ClearanceJobs has recently acquired AgileATS, a cutting-edge Applicant Tracking System (ATS) tailored for government contractors. We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join our team and drive adoption of AgileATS within the GovCon community.
About the role:
The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and tailored solutions to prospective government and defense industry clients. This role requires a deep understanding of ATS platforms, government contracting processes, and the unique needs of GovCon organizations.

You will help ClearanceJobs drive new clients and provide benefits to the candidate community by offering new roles that may only be available in the ClearanceJobs marketplace.
Once hired, you will:
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored demonstrations of AgileATS.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales presentations and post-sale onboarding.
- Conduct product training sessions for potential clients and internal teams.
- Respond to technical inquiries and develop solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of government contracting regulations and industry trends to effectively position AgileATS.
- Assist in creating technical proposals, RFP responses, and product collateral.
- Represent AgileATS at industry events, webinars, and client meetings.
What you bring to the team:
Required:
- Proven experience in selling or supporting ATS platforms, HR solutions, or SaaS products within the GovCon space.
- Strong understanding of government contracting processes and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate technical features into business value for government clients.
- Experience with Salesforce, CRM tools, or similar sales enablement platforms is a plus.
- Ability to travel to industry events on a semi-regular basis.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in technical recruiting within the GovCon space
