Overview
The Surveillance Operations team works collaboratively with the Anti-Financial Crimes group to protect the Bank from potential sanctions risk. As a member of the Transaction Surveillance team, you will play a critical role in helping to drive compliance with regulatory sanctions policies. Operating in the first line of defense, you will partner with the compliance team and conduct detailed analysis of transactions to identify and escalate transactions that pose potential sanctions risk to the Bank.

What You'll Do
- Exercises professional skepticism, coupled with client service acumen, to identify and communicate potential sanctions issues to the second line of defense
- Apply regulatory guidance to perform case analyses in a dynamic environment
- Responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of transactions (including performing all relevant controls) within own area of responsibility with focus on the analysis and case build with respect to potential regulatory sanctions risk
- Close collaboration with Teams in India and United States
- Appliance and strict adherence to all internal and external guidelines / policies and regulatory directives as well as Service Level Agreements, Key Risk Indicators and / or Key Performance Indicators and Quality measurements
- Ensure appropriate escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and functional Leadership functions; contributes to the development and implementation of solutions to monitor and mitigate risk
Skills You'll Need
- Excellent team player - you will be able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and maintain a broad understanding of the Global Transaction Banking Operations
- Strong analytic skills
- Previous experience with Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Sanctions & Embargo analysis is distinct advantage

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $48,000 to $68,800.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
