What You’ll Do:
Reporting directly to the Chief Schools Officer (CSO), the Strategic Operations Associate will play a key role in advancing strategic priorities, improving coordination across departments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This highly visible role offers unique exposure to leadership decision-making and systems-level implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary operational liaison between the CSO and other network teams, supporting alignment and follow-through on strategic initiatives.
- Manage the CSO’s calendar, scheduling internal and external meetings with efficiency and professionalism.
- Coordinate and support logistics for high-stakes meetings, including school leader professional development sessions, walkthroughs, and school reviews.
- Draft communications, take meeting minutes, and manage follow-up actions to ensure organizational clarity and accountability.
- Support the Talent Development team in organizing and scheduling Democracy Prep’s semiannual School Review process.
- Manage internal systems for tracking and communicating progress on key initiatives.
- Provide project support and administrative coordination to the CSO team and schools division.

Compensation: This is a full-time, exempt role. The salary range for this position is $64,350–$72,350, commensurate with experience.
