The Role

Dematic/KION is looking for a Test Automation Developer responsible for the development of corresponding test cases and test scripts based on user requirements to ensure the completeness and reliability of software functions.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:
  • Develop and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality and stable software products.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure the effectiveness and completeness of test scripts.
  • Run automation test suites, collect, and analyze test results, and provide timely feedback to the development team.
  • Develop corresponding test cases and test scripts based on user requirements to ensure the completeness and reliability of software functions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of test strategies and plans to ensure test coverage and effectiveness.
  • Use tools such as Jira to manage test cases and track defects.
  • Continuously optimize the testing process and tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
  • Familiar with the company's software development processes and quality standards, ensuring that the testing process complies with company standards and requirements.
  • Maintain and update existing test cases and test scripts to ensure their repeatability and stability.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and propose solutions to ensure the quality and stability of software products.
  • Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares development project schedule, tasks, and estimates.
  • Performs technical design and documents technical specifications. Ensures compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture.
  • Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or similar field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in automation test development, with experience in UiPath or other automation testing tools.
  • Familiar with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C#, etc.
  • Familiar with Jira and other defect tracking and test case management tools.
  • Familiar with software testing theory and process, understanding the basic principles of test strategy and plan development.
  • Strong learning and research abilities, able to continuously learn and master new automation testing technologies and tools.
  • Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with users on small to medium sized engagements.
  • Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a business problem.
  • Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
  • Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing, and presenting appropriate status reports.
  • Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).
  • Resume/CV must be submitted in English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
