The Role

Dematic is looking for an SAP PP Specialist responsible for configuration changes, enhancements on SAP Systems.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:
  • Develop and support SAP functionality in the business, primarily in PP and FI/CO.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level SAP support for the global IT team.
  • Participate in systems and integration - design, analysis, and testing.
  • Work closely with local and Corporate SAP analysts in issue identification and resolution.
  • Work closely with local and Corporate ABAP developers to identify reported system issues.
  • Aid in the development of business requirements specifications.
  • Provide solutions or communicate and route issues to other appropriate IT groups including 2nd line support in Germany.
  • Confer with internal staff and organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and processes, identify problems and paths to a solution, understanding of specific requirements such as forms of data input, how data will be summarized and used, formats for reports.
  • Analyze information problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions in a test environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP PP.
  • Experience working in SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Knowledge on the SAP PP, and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules) required.
  • Experience in the implementation and configuration of SAP PP.
  • Understanding the integration with various SAP modules like MM, SD, QM, CO, PM, WM, SD, and FI.
  • SAP MM Specialist skills to design and configure MM based on purchasing business processes.
  • Knowledge on the SAP ERP MM, and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules) required.
  • Experience writing functional specs and work with technical team on enhancements, user exits.
  • Experience preparing data migration templates.
  • Experience in data extracting, cleansing, and uploading the data.
  • Experience in working with global teams.
  • Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.
  • Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
  • Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA).
  • Experience with global, large scale ERP implementations.
  • Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).
  • Resume/CV must be submitted in English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
