TITLE: Senior System Engineer

Location: 1130 Sanctuary Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009; Telecommuting permissible from any location within U.S. except from the following states: AK, NH, DC, HI, OK, ME, VT, PR or other U.S. Territories, NB, WV, ND, WY.

Salary Range: 40 hours/week; $131,498 - $136,498/year

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the company's Citrix environments, Intune, other related service requests and incident support.
  • Provide operational support, customer engagement, and continual service improvement of Citrix XenApp, VDI, MCS, Intune.
  • Azure and other duties as assigned.
  • Provide business-facing support and conduct business requirements analysis to deliver capabilities and technology integrations across platforms for greater employee effectiveness.
  • Improve upon existing employee engagement models, build upon ITSM processes for incident management, request management, and release management, and will continuously build more connected and interoperable platforms while planning, building, and implementing Workplace Engineering technology roadmap.
  • Help drive and lead the deployment and migration of Citrix environments, ensuring smooth integration with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of Citrix infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and user access management.
  • Telecommuting permissible from any location within U.S. except from the following states: AK, NH, DC, HI, OK, ME, VT, PR or other U.S. Territories, NB, WV, ND, WY

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Information Technology or job offered.
  • Design and architect Citrix-based solutions (Citrix Virtual Apps, Citrix Virtual Desktops, Citrix ADC/NetScaler) to meet enterprise requirements across multiple environments (on-premises, hybrid, cloud)
  • Optimize Citrix environments for performance, including resource management, load balancing, and efficient use of Citrix licensing.
  • Ensure Citrix solutions are implemented in a secure manner, adhering to best practices for data protection and compliance.
  • Work with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT teams to ensure Citrix solutions are integrated with other systems and infrastructure.
  • Document Citrix architectures, configurations, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing. Prepare technical reports and performance metrics for senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Control UP digital employee experience platform, to include roles, permissions, integration with Citrix Daas/NetScaler, configuration of triggers, stress levels and Scout Bees.
  • Dashboard creation, Integration of API using webhooks andremote execution of scripts, configuration of scripts actions email integration, agent deployments and upgrades.
  • Utilize VMware ESXi hosts, VMware vSphere ESX and VMware vCenter Server to support and troubleshoot the technology environment.
  • Utilize DHCP, name resolution, domain, OU hierarchy, and domain trusts to ensure the technology can be dependent on Active Directory.
  • Utilize OSI Network Model to troubleshoot issues and creating GPOs and PowerShell scripting to automate workflow.
  • Architecture and cloud services to design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud services.
  • Azure services, such as Azure Compute, Storage, networking, and the ability to architect solutions that optimize cost and performance.
  • Performance monitoring and troubleshooting to maintain a high availability and optimal performance of cloud services. This includes knowing how to use tools such as Azure Monitor and insights to track performance metrics, set up alerts and diagnose issues.
  • Server 2016, 2019 and 2022, server administration, active directory management, security policies, disaster recovery planning, patch management, and ability to project manage.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
