Senior Marketing Specialist - Alliances

The Senior Marketing Specialist leads the development and execution of integrated marketing programs to support customer acquisition, retention, product marketing, and portfolio maintenance for business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C). The position plays a strategic role in driving growth through impactful, data-informed marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute segment-specific marketing strategies and programs to drive new sales and enhance retention across multiple audience groups, including customers and enrollees.
  • Craft compelling positioning, key messages, and value propositions aligned to segment goals.
  • Oversee the creation and upkeep of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, web content, direct mail, and digital campaigns.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Legal, Product, Data, Design, and Content) and external agencies to deliver effective, cross-functional marketing initiatives.
  • Manage marketing budgets and agency relationships to ensure efficient program execution.
  • Track and report on program performance and ROI, providing insights and recommendations to optimize results and support financial goals.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide strategy, support new program development, and refine existing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Proven experience designing and executing marketing strategies across digital, direct, and web-based channels.
  • Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and managing agency partners to meet business goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including editing, composition, proofreading, and presentation.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and strategic planning abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in presenting ideas and communicating across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or other regulated industries and B2B marketing preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Smartsheet, Workfront, Adobe Creative Suite, and analytics platforms including Google Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI strongly preferred.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 19. $63,700 - $133,500
