Network Development is responsible for the overall provider relationship, strategy, development and management, and performance of high quality, cost-effective, competitive networks in multiple lines of business to retain and grow Delta Dental's business. The Network Development Program Manager is a consultative resource that enables Network Development to drive forward strategies and opportunities to improve provider experience. This talent will manage end-to-end delivery of projects from the initial kickoff to coordinating major launch milestones, be responsible for developing and deploying winning provider strategies (including analysis, new program ideas, and communications). The role will guide stakeholders through key decisions, communicate and coordinate activities internally and across departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Creatively & strategically develops project proposals that improve and enhance the provider experience, plan and implement campaigns, partnerships and events
  • Identifies opportunities to improve provider interactions, engagement strategies and expand provider value add services
  • Assists in the development of a market-leading, provider-oriented support program
  • Builds connections and strengthen partnership with internal and external stakeholders to support, develop and implement new projects intended to achieve business objectives and enhance the provider experience
  • Manages the review, approval and planning process of provider related conferences and provider outreach seminars, community care foundation, dental association events for the Enterprise. Work with Network Development leads to execute the events as planned
  • Drives day-to-day progress of programs and projects and keep leadership informed of project status and health
  • Focus on delivering effective communication to providers; work directly with the Delta Dental and Dentegra Network Development teams, Operations, Communications, Brand + Creative, Direct Marketing, Product Marketing in the development of provider material (i.e., postcards, letters, brochures, office displays) that is consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice. Contributes to quarterly or semi-annual provider newsletters; work closely with Operations and Communications to develop ideas for content, showcasing specific policy updates, new products, upcoming events, etc
  • Collaborates with cross-functional team within the enterprise, dental provider community and organized dentistry to gain perspective on trends, issues, and areas of opportunity to support the dental profession
  • Communicates findings to leadership and to the broader organization by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways
  • Works in partnership with cross-functional teams to create objectives and strategies that reflect program vision and charter

  • 7+ w/Bachelor's degree

  • Additional Experience
  • 5+ years of dental managed care or related health care experience, preferred. 5+ years in a Network Development/Provider Relations position with managed care plan experience, preferred.

  • Base Pay Information

    The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
    Pay Grade 21. $80,500 - $174,300
