This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Mail Services operation and production staff. The Supervisor ensures a smooth and efficient workflow from receiving, scanning, and batching of all the incoming paper documents for the enterprise as well as the distribution of all internal mail within the campus. In conjunction with the Manager, this position ensures all control procedures in place are being followed so that the work is processed the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees day-to-day operations of the team, organizes the workload, and monitors the processing of work to ensure SLA's are met while ensuring quality standards are followed.
- Monitors all expenses related to areas of responsibilities, staffing and office supplies.
- Works to ensure staff is empowered to meet productivity metrics by hiring, coaching, mentoring and disciplining employees and maintaining all training manuals.
- Schedules, assigns, and gathers resources needed; implements productivity standards and resolves escalated operational problems.
- Reviews and releases daily deposit of provider refund checks to the bank.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
- Mediates and facilitates communications between union members and the People organization.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years as an Individual Contributor with Associate's degree; 0+ years supervisory
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of management and staff
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of standard mail operations procedures and equipment
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 17. $50,800 - $106,400
