The Internal Auditor will be responsible for performing operational and financial audits, internal control consulting assignments, special projects, and investigations as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Examines and evaluates the integrity of financial and operational information.
- Examines and evaluates the effective use of enterprise resources.
- Reviews compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Develops and proposes recommendations for control and/or efficiency improvements.
- Documents and prepares audit result reports, including recommendations and management responses.
- Responds to inquiries from external auditors (e.g., CPA, regulatory, group).

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience w/ Bachelor's degree
- Good organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good knowledge of auditing principles and techniques.
- Professional-level knowledge of accounting (GAAP) and internal control (COSO) principles.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 17. $50,800 - $106,400
