Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior Full Stack Software Development Engineers in Atlanta, GA. Design, prototype, and demonstrate new software features and components of front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of related approaches, tools, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the technical teams, business teams, and product managers to ensure that the code that is developed meets their vision.
  • Design software solutions to meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Align with security/compliance frameworks and controls requirements.
  • Own quality posture and write automated tests, ideally before writing code.
  • Write codes and develop delivery pipelines and automated deployment scripts.
  • Configure software services, such as databases and monitoring.
  • Implement Service Reliability Engineering.
  • Fix software problems from the development phase through the production phase, which requires being on call for production support.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, and seven years of experience in software development or related.
  • In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, and six years of experience in software development or related
  • Cloud-native development, RESTful APIs, and microservices with Springboot;
  • API Management Platform including AWS API Gateway or Apigee API Management Platform;
  • Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline, and Build tools including GIT, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle;
  • Java/J2EE framework, design patterns and tools, and Oracle relational database; and
  • Web application frameworks with responsive design and API technologies including jQuery, AngularJS, Swagger, and Spring boot within the airline industry and customer facing portals.
