UX Designer - TS/SCI with Polygraph - Virginia

The Team
Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise. Our Customer Strategy & Design team discovers, designs, and prototypes customer growth strategies and innovation portfolios.
Work You'll Do
- Work cross-functionally to create functional and user friendly designs for a modernized applications, platforms, and infrastructure
- Conduct research sessions for user input and co-lead workshops with developers and other members of the project team
- Create Storyboards, Site Maps, Wireframes, Prototypes, High Fidelity Mockups, etc.
- Define visualization standards across portfolios to reinforce messaging and engage audiences
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Visualization, Graphic Design, Brand Marketing/Advertising, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a some combination of the following: Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design, User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design/Development
- Experience using visualization tools including, at minimum: Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite, and Figma
- Ability to work on site 100% of the time in Virginia
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to travel 0 - 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Experience with basic front-end technologies to develop user interface (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience pitching new projects and creative concepts to new and existing clients
- Experience with brand experience, brand development and management, design strategy, multimedia production, data visualization, graphical or video asset production, print/publication design, motion/video/audio production, information architecture
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,800 to $171,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
