Work You'll Do
As a Manager you will design, document and develop world-class enterprise applications using a full spectrum of enterprise technologies. You will define the scale and scope of projects - landscape requirements and help develop and architect the solution. You will develop and review system requirements, designing the solution, working with a team of solution experts. You and your team will review and evaluate key attributes of existing application structures and will lead the successful implementation of these architectures, managing expectations, risk and project completion. You and your team will perform detailed reviews on deliverables, providing technical guidance to the team, managing the team, managing on and offshore teams and work directly with client stakeholders. You will interact with other stakeholders, not limited to end-user clients, project managers, business analysts, developers, testers and other cross-functional teams. You'll help organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to pricing strategies, develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop "thoughtware" and "point of view" documents. You'll perform the role of counsellor and coach for other IT staff members and provide input and guidance into the future staffing needs. You'll provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
Qualifications
As a Manager, part of our Solutions Expert practice, you will bring considerable expertise helping deliver effective solutions for commercial clients. You will be responsible for architecting complex solutions, working with global functional and technical teams on engagements that leverage a high degree of automation, the latest technologies and cut across support and development work. You will work with other engagement managers, project team members and representatives from various teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration. Required
- 8+ years' relevant experience in consulting or industry which should include working with large globally distributed teams, managing onshore and offshore team members, with strong leadership experience;
- 6+ years' experience working in technical solution implementation including experience with architecture, design, evaluation, and investigation in a Cloud environment;
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience;
- Experience working with globally distributed technology teams which should include 10+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience managing and delivering large scale systems;
- Experience reviewing and evaluating existing application architectures;
- Experience performing detailed reviews on deliverables, providing technical guidance to the team, managing the team, and working with client stakeholders;
- Routing interaction with other stakeholders not limited to end-user clients, project managers, scrum masters, business analysts, offshore development teams, testers and other cross-functional teams;
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment and with third parties;
- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve;

Preferred
- Industry recognized technology certifications - AWS Cloud, GCP or MS Azure, TOGAF
- Strong project management and delivery experience including budget oversight and staffing of project teams
- Experience mentoring , training, and developing staff and team members
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise judgment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
- Master's degree

Wages and Salary
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,000 to $241,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual, and organizational performance.
