  • Providing support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Providing assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Performing periodic vulnerability scans of systems.
  • Performing configuration management, implementation, and sustainment of compliance with applicable system security controls.
  • Performing account management, e.g., establishing, activating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
  • Optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis and planning.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience as a system administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform.
  • 1+ years of experience with Service Management (ITSM)
  • Experience implementing IAVA security patches and insuring patch status is recorded in appropriate systems of record.
  • Experience providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Experience providing assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Experience performing account management, e.g. establishing, activating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
  • Experience optimizing system operations and resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification
