Work You'll Do
- Analyze client business requirements and translate them into SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) functional specifications, ensuring data integrity and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Configure and optimize SAP MDG modules for critical master data domains (e.g., customer, vendor, finance, material), supporting processes across finance, procurement, and supply chain.
- Design and implement data governance processes, workflows, and controls in SAP MDG to address data quality, compliance, and regulatory needs for public sector clients.
- Document to-be data governance processes, SAP MDG configuration settings, and integration points with S/4HANA and other SAP modules.
- Participate in full lifecycle SAP MDG and S/4HANA implementations, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Support master data migration, cleansing, and cutover activities to ensure seamless and accurate data transition into SAP environments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enable effective data governance, integration, and end-user support.
- Stay current with SAP MDG, S/4HANA, and industry best practices, providing recommendations for master data process enhancements and compliance improvements.
- Recommend and design continuous improvements to master data governance frameworks to maximize client ROI and mitigate operational risks.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- Ability to travel 0-80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- 2+ years of SAP functional configuration experience, with emphasis in SAP MDG and master data management
- 2+ years of experience with end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including MDG configuration, data migration, and testing
- SAP MDG and/or S/4HANA certification
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA MDG integration across FI, MM, SD, EWM, or other business domains
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Fiori, and MDG-specific data migration and cleansing tools
- Experience delivering project workstreams or mentoring team members in SAP master data initiatives
- Secret Clearance or above
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,800 to $148,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
