Work You'll Do
Seeking a Release Manager to support an SAP S/4 HANA implementation. This role is critical to ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of software releases in a secure, client-facing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and experience working with clients in high-security settings. No prior SAP experience is required training and support will be provided. Responsibilities include:

- Plan, schedule, and manage software releases, updates, and patches for the SAP S/4 HANA environment.
- Coordinate release activities across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and client requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related communications with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain detailed release documentation, checklists, and status reports.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with release activities.
- Facilitate release readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings, and post-release retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols and client requirements.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Required onsite 100% of the time in Chantilly, VA
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Agile Certification
- 3+ years of experience in release management, project coordination, or a related IT role
- 2+ years of direct client-facing experience, including leading meetings or presentations
- Demonstrated experience managing at least 5 full-cycle software releases or deployments in a professional setting
- Created and maintained detailed release documentation (including checklists and status reports) for an minimum of 2 concurrent projects
- Delivered clear and concise verbal and written communications to clients and team members, resulting in an improvement in stakeholder satisfaction.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
