Work you'll do:
- You will bring considerable technical, functional and product quality engineering expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients, primarily in the life sciences healthcare space (LSHC).
- Lead testing engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams, define deliverable structure and content, facilitate the buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels and direct on-time, quality delivery of work, managing engagement economics and risk.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients, vendors, sponsors.
- Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients in the LSHC space, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
- Develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents related to health tech quality engineering practices, participate in speaking events, get published in industry periodicals around the quality engineering health tech space.
- Perform the role of counsellor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participate in recruitment and retention activities, provide leadership and support for delivery teams and local office staff.
Qualifications Required:
- 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience with at least 5+ years in the LSHC space with a focus on quality engineering.
- Experience selling and leading the delivery of large testing programs in a global delivery model (>10M USD) across all phases of testing.
- Experience standing up, structuring and leading large quality engineering teams of >20 testing resources to deliver complex project-based and annuity testing efforts using a global model.
- Strong knowledge of various testing tools across test management, automation, and other specialized testing techniques, including the adoption of AI in a quality engineering environment.
- Deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges as they relate to a health tech environment.
- Experience tracking and reporting - SLAs and KPIs in a managed services testing engagement.
- Ability to travel up to 50%based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Testing techniques experience - understand the various approaches used in testing, including white box, black box, load testing, coverage testing and regression testing.
- Experience building a testing COE.
- Technical expertise in implementing industry standard testing methodology and tools.
- Experience implementing testing best practices specific to the test planning and execution processes and gaining buy-in for changes from executives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or the equivalent work experience. Master's Degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience as a health tech quality engineering thought leader.
- Knowledge of standard selling disciplines, specifically Solution Selling and RFP management.
- Experience leading high performance, results driven teams with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities.

Wages + Salary
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900 to $292,900. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
