Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Establishes data quality frameworks and processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of your data. Encompassing master data management, data catalog, business glossary and data quality
- Run SQL queries to identify data issues, data fixes, and validate new and existing data.
- Ability to follow data flows to derive data lineage.
- Perform research, data collection, quality assurance, analysis and problem solving (Python, SQL, Informatica DQ, Unity Catalog in Databricks,Triage & remediate data quality, Data integrity or data management issues.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience with Data Governance or similar role, with a focus on establishing data quality frameworks and processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of your data
- 2+ years of experience with Data Dictionary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage and Metadata concepts.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis
- Metadata and data structures knowledge along with exposure to general application data flow
- Prior experience with a large Data Warehouse
- 2+ years of experience and strong SQL and Microsoft Excel experience.
- Knowledge of Data Governance practices and data classification concepts.
- Knowledge of developing and maintaining data catalog (Informatica Axon,Maintain Assets and metric for glossary; maintaining consistent enterprise data definitions)
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
