MoveIT and EDI Test Engineer

Work You'll Do

As a US Delivery Center Solutions Specialist on the team, you will:

Be responsible for testing APIs, MOVEit file transfers, and EDI transactions to ensure the reliability, security of our systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in testing complex integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.

• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability.

• Work closely with developers, functional team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and test environments.

• Utilize JIRA or similar test management/ALM tool for test case execution and defect tracking.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

API Testing:

• Design, develop, and execute API test cases and test scripts.

• Validate API functionality.

• Use tools like SoapUI, Postman or similar to automate API testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

MOVEit Testing:

• Test and validate file transfers using MOVEit.

• Ensure the accuracy and the integrity of file transfers.

• Monitor and troubleshoot file transfer issues.

EDI Testing:

• Test EDI transactions for accuracy and compliance.

• Validate EDI SNIP level validations, mappings, and transformations.

• Conduct end-to-end testing of EDI integrations with trading partners.

• Document and report EDI testing results and issues.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1+ years' of experience with Software and Automation Testing
• Proficiency in API, MOVEit, and EDI Testing

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field required
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
• Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Mechanicsburg)
• Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
• Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
• Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
