Position Summary
The US Audit & Assurance Services (A&AS) Group of the Professional Practice Network is responsible for a variety of activities that directly support our audit professionals in performing high quality audits and delivering excellent client service. More specifically, the activities of our group include:
- Consultation - Consult with subject matter teams on matters relating to performing and reporting on audits and other attest engagements performed in accordance with the auditing or attestation standards of the AICPA, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), or the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), including the application of our methodology, among other matters.
- Transforming the Deloitte Audit- Develop and maintain content, tools and processes, including a focus on (1) the development and deployment of Omnia, (2) methodology changes to underpin innovation, (3) tools and techniques that advance data-driven audits, (4) research technologies that facilitate knowledge sharing, (5) learning that provides the necessary technical, professional, and leadership skills, (6) industry enhancements that enable appropriate engagement-specific content to be provided, and (7) teaming with Deloitte stakeholders to support other Transformation initiatives.
- Standard Setting, Public Policy, and Regulatory Interface - Monitor, influence, and participate in activities of applicable standard-setting bodies [e.g., AICPA, PCAOB, IAASB]. Collaborate with public policy organizations that focus on public company auditing through involvement on various committees and task forces [e.g., Center for Audit Quality (CAQ)]. Interface with regulatory bodies and build relationships, including the attendance at and participation in professional meetings and presentations.
- Quality Control- Drive continuous enhancements to the quality control process, including implementation of global quality control standards throughout the Deloitte network. Provide leadership and direction to the inspection and monitoring activities. Lead our PCAOB and AICPA remediation plans and resultant communications with regulators.
- Emerging Assurance - Enhance professional eminence through innovative thought leadership publications, external stakeholder relationships (e.g., Assurance Services Executive Committee), and provide technical support to internal advisory functions (e.g., Accounting & Reporting Advisory).

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Must hold active US CPA license in the state in which your home office will be located prior to beginning employment.
- You should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if
- You should expect to co-locate with team members or other colleagues in a Deloitte office, at a client site and/or virtually, based on specific team and business expectations.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the type of work you perform and the clients served.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,300 - $139,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
