The GPS Contracts Sector Team is a diverse group of practitioners located across the US and India, dedicated to supporting all prime contract management needs for our internal and external clients. We are part of Operational Excellence, which provides business and operational support that empowers GPS Consulting and Advisory practices to deliver exceptional client service. Our team plays a critical role in driving operational change as the GPS business evolves. Collaborating with leaders, we are reimagining the future of operations by redesigning services and incorporating new technologies to propel GPS into the future.

Work You'll Do:
- Procurement Strategy and Execution: Report to the Procurement Manager and act as an IT procurement SME for the Government and Public Services (GPS) Practice, advising on procurement strategies and executing activities related to software, hardware, and other commodities.
- Contract Review and Risk Mitigation: Review software and reseller terms and conditions to identify and mitigate negotiation risks between suppliers and Deloitte.
- Competitive Bidding and Analysis: Oversee complex bidding processes and conduct routine analyses, including price and cost analysis, using proven sourcing strategies.
- Proposal and Procurement Support: Provide proposal support to GPS Deloitte Proposal Teams, including advising on the development of the bill of material and managing the end-to-end procurement process.
- Supplier Management and Compliance: Prepare purchase order packages in compliance with Deloitte's policies, manage supplier relationships strategically, and support supplier diversity programs.
- Communication and Customer Service: Interact professionally with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, emphasizing customer-oriented services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Over 8 years of purchasing experience.
- Experience in purchasing hardware, software, SaaS solutions, and other IT-related products.
- Active TS/SCI or TS CI Poly clearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 10%-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Ability to work on client sites located in Washington DC, Reston VA, or Baltimore MD.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
- Proven experience in negotiating and leveraging value-added reseller agreements.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong consultative skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with teams.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $103,900 to $173,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
