Lead Business Program Specialist - Office of Security

Position Summary

The US Office of Security (OOS) is a vital enabling area within the Finance & Administration organization, dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all Deloitte US professionals. Our mission is to equip our people with the information, tools and support needed to safeguard our organization, facilities, and clients. As a Lead Business Program Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping, executing, and advancing strategic business projects and priorities that directly support this mission.

You will leverage your expertise in program management, process improvement, and collaboration to design, coordinate, plan and manage a variety of impactful business initiatives. You will participate in a variety of special projects, research, and activities related to Office of Security business operations and ongoing operational excellence.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the implementation and ongoing management of one or more programs/projects, ensuring consistent follow-through from initiation to completion.
  • Devise and execute strategies to promote Office of Security initiatives leveraging innovative approaches to content to increase engagement and visibility and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to review, develop, document, and store all operating processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and clarity. Oversee periodic reviews of documentation updates.
  • Define and track clear, measurable security awareness goals (metrics) to gauge effectiveness of security initiatives/programs. Once defined, help operationalize the processes and reporting.
  • Prepare, format, and deliver compelling, clear, and concise presentations and communications in support of various OOS projects and OOS leadership. Coordinate and collaborate with supporting resources, including but not limited to US/Global Communications, OGC, HR, Learning & Development, and others as necessary for the development and approval of specific communications.
  • Apply strong presentation skills to facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring complex information is communicated clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate creativity and initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvement, program innovation, and increased efficiency across Office of Security and Global Security Office projects.
  • Consistently demonstrate strong follow-through on project deliverables, action items, and stakeholder communications, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Assist with other various Office of Security and Global Security Office projects, as needed, bringing a creative and solutions-oriented approach to all assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related area
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of branding fundamentals, with proven ability to manage and communicate cross-functional initiatives
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Adobe Creative Suite or graphic design skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and lead educational initiatives (e.g., online seminars, live workshops)
  • Strategic and tactical thinker, ability to balance big-picture vision with attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
  • Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities

  • Experience working with senior leaders and diverse teams in a matrixed, often virtual, environment
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize, delegate where necessary, and drive highly collaborate efforts
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, creativity, and persistence
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive attitude
