Work You'll Do
We are seeking a highly skilled GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced Generative AI solutions, with a particular focus on hands-on work with Google Gemini and other leading Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, AI/ML pipelines, and full-stack development, and will thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment supporting mission-critical projects for our government client.

- Architect and Implement GenAI Solutions:
Design, build, and deploy GenAI-powered applications in commercial cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud), applying industry best practices and standards to meet client's security and operational requirements. - Hands-On LLM Development:
Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate LLMs such as Gemini, GPT, and Claude; leverage prompt engineering and model customization to deliver actionable insights for client's mission. - GenAI Model Operations:
Manage the end-to-end GenAI model lifecycle, including LLMOps, model evaluation, deployment, and human-in-the-loop reinforcement learning, ensuring compliance with client data governance and privacy standards. - API and Integration Development:
Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations, web applications, and RESTful APIs using JavaScript, Node.js, or equivalent languages, with a focus on secure data exchange and interoperability within CLIENT systems. - API Design:
Design and document API specifications using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, or other modeling languages, ensuring alignment with client's technical and security standards. - System Integration and DevOps:
Architect and implement system integrations, leveraging automated CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins) and containerized services on Kubernetes, supporting client's scalable and resilient infrastructure. - Agile Collaboration:
Operate effectively within a fast-paced, Agile development environment, utilizing JIRA to manage user stories and adapt to evolving client requirements.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to travel up to 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Proven hands-on experience with LLMs, especially Gemini, GPT, and Claude, including prompt engineering and model evaluation
- Strong understanding of GenAI model development pipelines and LLMOps
- Proficiency in building and integrating RESTful APIs and web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, or similar languages
- Experience designing API specifications (RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI)
- Familiarity with system integration, CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins), and Kubernetes-based containerization
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile teams and manage tasks using JIRA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Experience in: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, Angular, Redis, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Strong Communication:
Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders within the client. - Collaboration & Teamwork:
Proven experience working effectively in cross-functional teams, including government, contractor, and technical personnel. - Problem Solving:
Demonstrated analytical skills and resourcefulness in troubleshooting complex technical challenges, especially in high-security, mission-critical environments. - Adaptability:
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and requirements, responding quickly to the client's operational needs. - Attention to Detail:
Commitment to accuracy and thoroughness, especially regarding compliance with client security, privacy, and data protection protocols. - Customer Focus:
Dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique needs and mission objectives of client, ensuring solutions are mission-aligned and user-centric. - Ethical Judgment:
High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information relevant to national security.
