Work you'll do
As an Email Developer at Deloitte Digital, you will partner with creative and operate professionals to ensure our clients are delivering the best experiences to their customers. Alongside your hands-on development, your experience will also inform your role as an advisor to Deloitte and client stakeholders.
As an Email Developer, you will:
- Demonstrate knowledge of marketing cloud platforms.
- Author HTML deliverables optimized for email and landing pages.
- Convert PSD files responsively and fluidly into HTML optimized for email delivery.
- Act as a content creation expert for internal and client teams.
- Maintain creative vision when translating design to code.
- Work with offshore/nearshore Delivery Center resources, supporting front-end development oversight, quality assurance and skills development.
- Enhance preexisting HTML, making suggestions and updates to improve rendering across a wide range of email clients.
- Integrate email content into various email platforms for campaign deployment, including adherence to CAN-SPAM requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill email content creation and process change requests efficiently.
- Consult on and troubleshoot HTML/text mailings, dynamic content personalization, and URL-related issues.
- Conduct and manage thorough quality assurance tests to ensure code meets leading practices and client expectations.
- Recognize and implement opportunities for coding efficiencies, leveraging experience with templates and wireframes.
- Integrate with third-party tools such as Liveclicker, Movable Ink, and others.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects.

The team
Deloitte's Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team creates content and experiences that inspire action. We design and implement technology platforms for personalized marketing across all digital touchpoints, specializing in customer-centric B2B and B2C solutions. Our in-house agency engages customers throughout their journey, working on projects like AdTech, MarTech, campaign automation, CRM, and lead-to-loyalty orchestration. Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in email and web development
- Minimum 2 years of experience with HTML and CSS for email development, demonstrated through at least 20 email templates or campaigns developed across multiple email clients (listed in resume, portfolio, or project highlights).
- Minimum 2 years of experience coding responsive and fluid email layouts for delivery on desktop, mobile, and web-based email clients,
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with at least one marketing cloud platform (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, Braze, HubSpot)
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field
- A strong desire to learn and passion for digital marketing, research and analytics
- Salesforce Certifications (SFMC Email Specialist, SFMC Administrator)
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, CI/CD, other).
- Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Experience with dynamic content personalization in emails, shown by describing work using scripting or personalization features in MarTech platforms.
- Working knowledge of XML and JSON as used in email deployments, integrations, or campaign configuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 to $198,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
