Design Manager

Position Summary

Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help make a significant impact on our clients' success. You'll work alongside talented professionals reimagining and reengineering operations and processes that are critical to businesses. Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.

Work You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement application design strategies, JAD sessions, current and future state design walkthrough, finalized design deliverables.
• Create project plans, timelines, and budgets for application design projects.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to ensure cohesive application development.
• Communicate design vision and concepts to stakeholders and gather feedback for iteration.
• Present design proposals and updates to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee the application design lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the design process.
• Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as necessary.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of application designers and developers.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree involving computer programming, structures, design or related experience
• Proven 10+ experience required in application design and development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
• 6+ years of lead experience in SDLC is required
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Bachelor's degree
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

• 5+ years of Public sector project experience is preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
