Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Leader in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Lead information technology projects, including the development of Cloud-based technologies, interface design and development, and overseeing all aspects of the systems development life cycle. Lead end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by leading the design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Lead various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Lead aspects of the proposal development process and develop proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the Cloud community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients;
  • Overseeing the delivery of engagements, including enabling innovation and scalability, removing performance barriers, modernizing core systems, and reimagining clients' business, utilizing Oracle Cloud applications, including General Ledger, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Global Intercompany, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Purchasing;
  • Leading business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of Oracle software solutions;
  • Leading and managing large Oracle Cloud Finance transformations across process areas, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), within Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Retail, and Life Sciences industries;
  • Working closely with senior executives of client organizations in adopting industry-leading practices for P2P, O2C, R2R, and A2R within Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Retail, and Life Sciences industries;
  • Running project management offices (PMOs), establishing project governance structures, performing project planning and status reporting, and leading various project meetings;
  • Overseeing the customization of Oracle Cloud applications, using Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS); and
  • Leading business development activities, including proposal development, responses to Requests for Proposals, eminence, and point of view development.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
