Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Perform software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs, utilizing Oracle products. Gather Oracle project requirements from the business; perform current state system analysis, document requirements, and create technical and functional specification documents for application development. Translate Oracle system requirements into functional design, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Design, configure, test, and support Oracle business modules to develop technical objects, including module and reports. Build, configure, and monitor interfaces to integrate Oracle business modules with 3rd party systems.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Providing production support in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) in Financials modules, fixing daily issues, soft closing of Periods during month close, working with Oracle Support on multiple Service Requests (SR) to fix errors and get data fixes;
  • Designing, developing, unit testing, and deployment of Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW) by Agile and Kanban methods in Oracle EBS;
  • Personalizing Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages and View Object (VO) Extensions in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), customizing Workflows, updating data by Public API's, deploy Unix or Shell scripts, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL;
  • Troubleshooting and fixing day to day issues in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchase Orders (PO), Subledger Accounting (SLA), and reconciling all subledgers to GL during period close, developing and customizing PL/SQL Procedures, Packages and Functions;
  • Supporting development and customization of Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) and bursting outputs, fixing import exceptions and creating Technical and Functional specifications documents;
  • Importing data from external sources or legacy systems into Oracle using custom PL/SQL Inbound Interfaces in Oracle EBS and extracting by PL/SQL Outbound Interfaces;
  • Running Patch Wizards to test and analyze the impact of the Patches in Oracle EBS and performing full End-to-End regression testing before moving to production;
  • Experienced in using Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Developer, JDeveloper, Oracle BIP, Oracle Forms & Reports 10g/12C, and Oracle Workflow Builder.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
