Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Manager in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects, including software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft (MS) Project, and MS Office tools to manage software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Insurance industry;
  • Managing all phases of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Amazon Web Services (AWS), MS Azure, MS Business Intelligence (BI) Stack, T-SQL, Python, PySpark, and Power BI for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes, and environments, utilizing MS Office Suite, MS SQL Server, and AWS Athena tools;
  • Utilizing ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and MS Office Suite tools to manage the design and development of project solutions;
  • Setting up Continuous Build (CB), Continuous Integration (CI), and source code management to achieve fully automated CI/Continuous Delivery (CD), utilizing GitHub, Bitbucket, Terraform, and Jenkins;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs, utilizing MS Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, erwin Data Modeler tools and facilitation, interviewing, brainstorming, and focus group methodologies;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, AWS Quicksight, and Power BI Dashboards; and
  • Managing the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing ServiceNow, Jira, MS Office Tools, Agile project management, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
