Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Manager in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires [3] years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leading and mentoring teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional, process, technical and scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures utilizing Microsoft (MS) Word, IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD), Apache Subversion (SVN), and HotGloo;
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients using MS Project Plan, Excel, and PowerPoint, Jama, and Atlassian Jira;
  • Interfacing directly with functional and technical teams to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Human-centered design (HCD) and Waterfall methodology;
  • Developing and maintaining the business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing RAD WebSphere, Structured Query Language (SQL) Developer, PuTTY, and Simple Object Access Protocol User Interface (SoapUI);
  • Leading development, testing and deployment, utilizing Jenkins, Jama, Jira, Selenium, and Qualitia; and
  • Providing solutions to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and working based on the scope using change management processes, including Risk Management Plan and Risk Register methodologies.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
