We are seeking a motivated and analytical Senior Manager to join our Finance Strategy team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the full Finance function as well as the related operating model structures, experience in the intersection of technology, process design, and change management. In this role, you will support strategic business transformation initiatives, help develop governance structures, assist in implementing new capabilities, and contribute to optimizing functional processes using leading technologies.

Work You'll Do
You, along with a dynamic team of colleagues, will help CFOs and Finance Leaders define and implement a vision for how to elevate their roles as business partners. As a Deloitte Senior Manager, you will provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues and needs and designing and implementing creative business and technology solutions for large companies.
You will be responsible for steering and delivering Finance Transformation projects and cultivating enterprise agility to ensure transformations are anchored in, and unlock, value. As a Senior Manager, you will also play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring teams, and contributing to practice growth.
Key Areas of Focus Include:
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Lead and manage multiple finance strategy consulting projects for clients
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes within scope, timeline, and budget
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted advisory relationships

Strategic Financial Analysis
- Conduct financial assessments, benchmarking, and scenario modeling to support client decision-making
- Develop business cases, financial models, and recommendations for initiatives such as M&A, transformation, cost optimization, and capital allocation
Solution Development
- Design and implement innovative finance strategies tailored to client needs, including operating model redesign, process improvement, AI-ready data landscapes, and digital transformation
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting finance functions
- Oversee the translation of complex ideas and data into clear, concise, and visually appealing formats for various audiences
- Guide the development of compelling models, storyboards, and presentations to communicate strategic initiatives, project plans, and business cases to stakeholders
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and develop team members
- Lead collaboration with teams in Deloitte's US India practice and other member firms
- Ensure seamless coordination and knowledge sharing across global teams
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, including senior executives, business unit leaders, and external partners
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings with client executives and key stakeholders
Business Development
- Support proposal development, client pitches, and thought leadership initiatives
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and develop new client relationships
- Participate in client sales presentations
Senior Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues
- Determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches
- Evaluate and validate analysis and develop recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
- Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
- Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
- Lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements
The Team
Our Finance Strategy offering acts as the gateway to the evolving CFO agenda, guiding executive clients in reimagining organizational capabilities through deep finance expertise. From operations to business partnering, we deliver trusted, efficient, and value-centric outcomes for global enterprises. Our services include strategy development, road mapping, strategic PMO, enterprise value creation, and finance automation and innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working in finance, accounting, or consulting (large or boutique), specifically advising CFOs on one or more of the following areas:
- Finance Transformation (at least 3 large-scale projects led)
- Finance Technology, Architecture Strategy, Data and AI (at least 2 enterprise implementations)
- Capital Strategy, Cost Optimization, Process Improvement, or Service Delivery/Operating Model Design (proven quantifiable outcomes required)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a formal team or project management capacity, leading teams of at least 3 professionals and overseeing at least 1 major change initiative from start to finish
- Demonstrable record of career progression with at least 2 promotions within relevant organizations or consultancies
- Hands-on experience developing and executing vision and strategy for a Finance organization, including full-cycle transformation (minimum 2 enterprise-level transformations)
- Direct experience with AI-enabled finance processes including agentic orchestration, machine learning, Large Language Models (LLM), robotic process automation, predictive analytics, and finance data visualization tools (minimum 1 implementation in at least 2 of these areas)
- Experience producing deliverables using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required (samples may be requested)
- Must reside within commuting distance (≤50 miles) of a Deloitte consulting office
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time as client engagements require
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in business (e.g., MBA) from a top-tier program
- Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources (managed budgets of at least $250K per project)
- Understanding of the impacts of business model changes on finance organizations, demonstrated through previous consulting or internal leadership roles
- Experience delivering strategy, transformation, and technology projects to the Office of the CFO, including leading cross-functional teams spanning Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Information Technology (minimum 2 such engagements)
- Experience developing proposals and leading programs with multiple concurrent workstreams and large, multi-functional teams (at least 2 such programs scoped and delivered)
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end finance processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and process optimization (minimum 2 completed process redesigns)
- Experience with finance technology systems and cloud platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, OneStream, etc.) and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); basic understanding of AI/ML concepts (minimum 1 system implemented)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,300 - $322,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
