Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in New Orleans, Louisiana and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects including software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing Agile Scrum methodology to manage software advisory and implementation services for clients in the U.S. Government and Public Services industries;
• Managing all phases of Agile project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Web Services, and Portals, and Data Exchanges for enterprise-level clients;
• Reviewing codes and providing recommendations for solution implementation, utilizing PMD (Programming Mistake Detector), and SonarQube;
• Resolving technical issues during project rollouts, utilizing Splunk, Java, Structured Query Language (SQL) databases, and SoapUI (Simple Object Access Protocol User Interface);
• Supervising teams focused on Business and Policy rule development, and data exchange with external agencies of engagements;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs, utilizing, Microsoft (MS) Visio, Word, and SharePoint, and Agile methodology;
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders utilizing Jama, Atlassian Jira, MS Visio, Project, and Office, and Agile Scrum methodology; and
• Managing the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing MS Project, Teams, and SharePoint, and Jira.
