Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle for the development of Cloud-based technologies. Manage end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud by leading the design and development for information technology projects within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Manage various aspects of the full software development life cycle related to information projects, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have three years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and five years of progressive related work experience. Position requires three years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud platform using Agile methodologies to manage design and development for Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Managed Services;
  • Defining the estimation and solution design for upcoming projects and change requests, utilizing Agile methodologies;
  • Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology solutions, using Eclipse IDE for development, ServiceNow for sprint backlog tracking, Jenkins for automated build and deployment, Microsoft (MS) Visio for logic and flow diagrams, InVision for creating prototypes working in an Agile model, and managing change requests;
  • Creating and reviewing technical and functional specifications, including navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing MS Visio and Swagger API;
  • Coordinating teams in designing solutions within cloud infrastructures, using Java Spring framework, ReactJS, and microservices, using Java Spring Boot working in an Agile model;
  • Working with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to complex business and technical challenges, using Agile methodologies;
  • Maintaining, driving, supervising, and implementing robust technical standards, systems, and processes.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week
