Position Summary
Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams for information technology projects to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements in relation to information technology projects, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum project management methodologies to lead information technology projects, including technology transformation within the Public Sector, Insurance, or Finance industries;
• Guiding teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, and defining support procedures, utilizing Atlassian Jira, IBM rational tools, and HP ALM;
• Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients, using Microsoft (MS) Project;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs using screen layouts, navigational flows, logic diagrams, data models and pseudo code to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using tools including Jira and IBM Requirements Management for project management, Unified Modeling Language (UML), MS PowerPoint, Visio for defining process flows, and Balsamiq, MS Word and MS Excel for layouting and modeling;
• Coordinating business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation, utilizing MS Visio, UML and Java web technologies, HTML, CSS, extensible markup language (XML), and PL SQL;
• Guiding development, testing and deployment, utilizing various J2EE frameworks, web services for development, Selenium, Apache JMeter for testing, Oracle Application Server, Weblogic, IBM Websphere, and Apache JBoss for deployment; and
• Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
