Work You'll Do

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Software Automation Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering practices and extensive experience with Python, as well as other foundational languages such as .NET, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Ruby, Pearl, and additional languages commonly associated with automation. This role requires the ability to conduct end-to-end processes, design the best automation solution, and develop the solutions. The successful candidate will also be eager to learn and implement other automation tools like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and explore AI solutions such as Agentic AI.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
  • 1+ year of experience with Python and at least one other foundational language (.NET, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1+ year of experience in software engineering practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.

Preferred:

  • Experience with additional languages commonly used in automation, such as Ruby, Perl, or Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Jenkins, or Ansible.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with a willingness to explore AI solutions like Agentic AI.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,720 to $106,080.
