• Train accounting staff on the use of tools and technologies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and automation trends, technologies, and regulations
• Leverage technologies to deliver strategic financial insights and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
• Partner with business and technical leaders to deliver, maintain, support business solutions
• Manage relationships with outside vendors. May serve internal or external clients

Our team of data analysts and data scientists help transform the controllership and treasury organization by leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to build capabilities that lead to increased efficiency and impact decision making. Our services include diagnosis analytics, process automation, analytics insight, data visualization, and financial modeling to help implement new or improved strategies in the operating model.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, computer science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience accounting and analytics
• 5+ years in automation innovation and implementation strategies
• Proficient in SQL, VBA, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, or other automation and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Secret clearance for this role
• Strong project management and team leadership skills
• Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- MBA or a Master's degree in Accounting

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,000 to $207,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a sales incentive program, whereby you may be eligible to receive certain incentive compensation amounts based on achievement of certain sales goals set forth each year, subject to the terms and conditions of any applicable program document.
