The Audit Committee Program is dedicated to supporting audit committee members and other directors navigate the complexities of their roles. Our mission is to inform, connect, and advise audit committee members, helping them to stay ahead of emerging trends and regulatory changes. By fostering a deep understanding of governance practices and offering practical insights, we empower audit committee members and other directors to fulfill their responsibilities with confidence and excellence.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our Audit Committee Program group within the Audit & Assurance Practice. This role will primarily focus on audit committee-related topics while encompassing broader governance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting, governance, or related fields, with strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results on time.

Key responsibilities
The Manager will have responsibilities in each of the three focus areas of the Audit Committee Program:
- Inform: Create and deploy timely, relevant content to inform audit committee members on topics impacting their evolving roles.
- Manage and support the development of thought leadership, including the Audit Committee Brief, Audit Committee Guide, and Audit Committee Practices Report.
- Develop content and materials for eminence-related programs, including panel discussions, webcasts, and other presentations.
- Provide timely updates and insights to leadership and other professionals on key governance issues and trends.
- Connect: Host or sponsor experiences that connect key stakeholders with each other, thought leaders, and subject matter resources.
- Support the development and execution of the:
- Audit Committee Symposium, a Deloitte-hosted program for 100+ audit committees to engage in discussions with peers and hear from leading specialists on governance and regulatory matters.
- Audit Committee Chair Forum, which assembles an elite group of Fortune 500 audit committee chairs to share emerging issues, best practices, and gain insights on enhancing governance and committee effectiveness.
- NY Board Ready Program, an educational and networking program for 40+ executives seeking for-profit board service opportunities.
- Governance Advisory Council, a group of directors who share perspectives on board and committee topics and helps shape Deloitte's governance programs and offerings.
- Develop a network of subject matter resources across Deloitte that can act as advisors to clients and PPMDs on a variety of governance-related topics.
- Support the development and execution of the:
- Advise: Deliver tailored experiences to help audit committee members advance their knowledge and effectiveness.
- Produce Audit Committee and Board Labs, interactive experiences designed to help boards and audit committees effectively execute their roles.
- Develop content and materials for education sessions and workshops for audit committee members and executives on a variety of governance-related topics.
- Research and respond to Lead Client Service Partners (LCSPs) and client requests on governance-related topics.
Additional responsibilities
- Supervise professionals on the Audit Committee Program team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across a hybrid team in the US and India.
- Assist in overseeing operational aspects of the program.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, governance, or related fields.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality results on time.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, and an ability to effectively engage with senior leaders and clients.
- High service orientation and commitment to excellence.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with a geographically dispersed team in a hybrid environment.
- Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- You should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required
- You should expect to co-locate with team members or other colleagues in a Deloitte office, at a client site and/or virtually, based on specific team and business expectations.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the type of work you perform and the clients served
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

- CPA certification
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $191,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
