Associate, Analytics and Insights

Yesterday Kansas City, MO

Position Summary

Are you interested in helping shape how AI products get built within operations? Government Solutions and Innovation is looking for a Product Analyst to support our AI platforms - helping turn stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and working side-by-side with our development team to bring AI-powered features to life with realized value.

Work you'll do

The Product Analyst will support our AI platform product teams by helping define, refine, and validate features as they move from idea to release. Additionally, this practitioner will:

  • Partner with the Product Lead to gather stakeholder input and help translate it into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
  • Query and validate product data in Snowflake using SQL to answer feature-usage and data-quality questions during discovery and QA
  • Sit in on stakeholder conversations and sprint ceremonies, capturing requirements and surfacing open questions to the Product Lead and development team
  • Support functional testing of new AI-enabled features, documenting defects and edge cases with enough context for developers to act
  • Help maintain product documentation (feature specs, release notes, process changes) so stakeholders and end users understand what's shipping and why
  • Flag risks, dependencies, or scope questions early and escalate to the Product Lead rather than resolving them independently
  • Assist in preparing training materials and rollout communications for new functionality

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams

The team

Government Solutions and Innovation builds and maintains AI-powered platforms for the GPS Practice - acting as the connective tissue between business stakeholders, end users, and the development team, and using data to continuously improve the product experience and drive realized value.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a product, data, or business systems role
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL and experience querying data in Snowflake (or a similar cloud data warehouse)
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled products, or strong interest in learning how AI products are built and shipped
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or related field
  • Familiarity with agile/product development methodology (sprints, backlog grooming, user stories)
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
