Work You'll Do

As part of our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure-Oracle team, you will:

  • Implement, manage, and operate hybrid cloud environments for leading organizations.
  • Modernize networks and AI infrastructure from core to edge.
  • Develop new infrastructure and device services to help clients stay ahead of technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with Oracle and other cloud partners to deliver innovative, secure, and efficient cloud solutions across industries, including healthcare, government, and financial services.
  • Implement Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, migrate existing Oracle workloads, and deploy cloud solutions for ERP, HCM, and PaaS.
  • Embed technology insights into clients' organizational goals, driving issue-to-impact transformation.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Oracle Database Administration, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and production support of current Oracle Database versions including 23ai.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) core services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Database services)
  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle Data Guard, including command-line configuration, management, and troubleshooting of physical and Active Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM) for high-availability and scalable database environments.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, for automating the provisioning and management of OCI resources, including database systems.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and managing Oracle database security features, including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), and adhering to OCI security best practices (e.g., IAM, Vault).
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for comprehensive database monitoring, performance diagnostics, and lifecycle management across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with network and VM provisioning in at least one other major public cloud platform (AWS or GCP) to support multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 50% Travel as required

Preferred

  • Current OCI Professional Certification (e.g., OCI Architect Professional, OCI Database Cloud Administrator Professional).
  • Familiarity with cloud migration methodologies and tools, such as Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM), and proven success in large-scale database migrations to OCI.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical workshops, mentor junior DBAs, and communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Wages + Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 to $208,300. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
