We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager of Procurement Operations Excellence to join our Village, working at our World Headquarters in Denver. This teammate will lead project management as it relates to our supply chain business systems and manage Village-wide procurement operational excellence process improvements.

  • Project manage the technology enablement part of our procurement strategy, including requirements, roadmap and rollout (e.g. P2P Systems, ERP)
  • Support the deployment of procurement best practice and operational excellence processes

The Senior Project Manager, Procurement Operations Excellence will be responsible for the development, implementation, ongoing support and improvement of our center-led procurement policies, processes, and comprehensive technology. This role will be critical as we develop to scale and standardize Procurement processes, manage new and existing technologies, and partner cross-functionally across the Village. This position will work closely with internal business units to implement new system functionality and/or procurement operational processes. This role includes, but is not limited to, managing and partnering with cross-functional teammates to prioritize and track enhancement requests from internal and external customers, define requirements, collaborate in developing a digital procurement technology roadmap, assist in coordination of system releases and upgrades and leading project management. This position reports to the Senior Director of Procurement Programs, Systems and Operational Excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Process Improvements and Operational Excellence Projects
  • Provide overall project management support to procurement initiatives, including activities such as development of project plans, risk/issues overseeing, status tracking/reporting, enhancement/release planning, and creating presentations
  • Assist in the transformation of the Procurement function by engaging with business stakeholders and to document requirements, model current/future business processes and organization changes
  • Lead support and discovery process on new opportunities to bring more spend into the Procurement system(s), scoping tasks, defining product requirements and establishing quantifiable success metrics to track value over time.
  • Align process and system changes to new Procurement policy and practices to meet multi-year goals and objectives, inclusive of the definition of project scope and deliverables for multiple project activities
  • Continually monitor and report on the progress of programs to all stakeholders and project teams
  • Implement and guide scope changes and interventions to achieve objectives
Provide Ongoing Management and Support
  • Develop and maintain internal documentation for Procurement technology platforms, such as process flows, design specifications, configuration documentation, and test scripts
  • Understand the procurement process and systems and how end-users (teammates and suppliers) interact and engage with them
  • Work in a collaborative fashion, facilitate problem solving, drive decisions and communicate effectively
  • Maintains project management schedule and budget constraints
  • Host and facilitate weekly status meetings
  • Provide agendas for upcoming meetings as well as sending out meeting notes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of business-related experience in a Project Management role
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Preferred experience implementing and supporting ERP/P2P systems such as Coupa and/or Oracle modules
  • Experience using and supporting a variety of Sourcing and Procurement related processes, systems and programs a plus
  • Agile project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills geared towards troubleshooting, with the ability to resolve complex problems using simple solutions
  • Ability to forecast project resourcing and project timeline based on tasks and team member allocation
  • Ability to effectively work with team members that have a range of expertise from technical to non-technical
  • Excellent time management, decision making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, communication, planning and organization skills.
  • PMO (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Travel required up to 10%
