We are looking for Denver-based candidates!
The Clinical Transformation team is a headquarters team that leads DaVita in the transformation of kidney care by enabling care teams to engage patients in reaching their health goals and reducing overall cost to the healthcare system - otherwise known as value-based care. The Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) Practice Engagement lane is a key sub-lane of Clinical Transformation. This Sr. Manager, Partner Engagement, sits within this sub-lane.
Being the Partner of Choice to nephrologist practices allows our care teams to improve the clinical outcomes for our patients and grow this line of business. The IKC Practice Engagement sub-lane seeks to strengthen these practice partnerships through practice collaboration, reporting, technology, innovative care models, etc.
This Sr. Manager will drive the strategy, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of innovative initiatives to improve Partner of Choice and associated clinical outcomes - scope may include but is not limited to the following initial focus areas:
- Practice collaboration models with IKC care teams
- Practice facing technology

Competencies Expected of Sr. Manager Include, But Not Limited To:
- Drives Scope of Work: Owns at least one aspect of functional area & contributes to direction of broader functional area. Leads the work of their team, translating action to impact in their functional area and department goals. Influences vertically and horizontally to drive results.
- Gets Right Stuff Done: Owns projects from inception to implementation. Translates insights into actions for project/team. Manages work with multiple team members and stakeholders, and communicates project(s) progress and achievements to leadership. Balances competing priorities to deliver on deadlines, with limited support. Independently resolves challenges and constraints. Excels in ambiguity; skilled in sense-making in an ill-defined environment and leading team to a comprehensive solution.
- Team Leadership: After time in role, manages a small- to mid- sized team - including attracting, developing, and retaining teammates while advancing scope. Balances team empowerment with accountability for detail. Seeks and provides effective mentoring and coaching. Identifies and constructively addresses teammate challenges, include exceling at leading tough conversations. Owns culture of their team and ensures a culture of belonging.
- Strategic Thinking: Sets strategic direction and goals for scope, translating broader goals and objectives into measurable deliverables / targets for team. Balances a broad, strategic perspective while identifying and focusing on crucial detail. Interprets data trends and adjusts team goals, resourcing, and project strategies as needed. Considers all parts of a situation or problem when deriving insights and proposing recommendations and alternatives. Proactively removes obstacles to ensure success. Connects team's work to broader DaVita priorities.
- Influence & Communication: Adept as persuasion including driving discussions with team, key leaders, and stakeholders to share meaningful insights. Delivers persuasive recommendations to senior audiences within and outside of functional area. Effectively networks throughout organization; viewed as an enterprise influencer. Adapts communication style and uses appropriate presentation styles and robust supporting material to fit the audience and objectives. Demonstrates a poised and credible demeaner, projecting confidence.
- Travel: Up to 10% as needed
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other master's degree preferred
- 6+ years work experience in strategy, project management, or operational improvement experience within a consulting or corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience in each key area of responsibility outlined above
- Demonstrated experience and/or interest in healthcare delivery, value-based care, patient experience, or physician experience
- Strong preference for Denver-based candidates (office-oriented hybrid role, with two days required in-person per week with a third day encouraged)

The Salary Range for the role is $110,000.00 - $161,000.00 per year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour
Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
