GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position will lead strategic transformation efforts that optimize the patient admissions experience across DaVita. This role is accountable for defining and executing a product vision and roadmap that ensures seamless transitions of care for patients, providers and internal teammates. The Senior Manager will manage multiple, large-scale initiatives and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact outcomes. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to synthesize complex data, translate strategy into execution, influence stakeholders, and develop emerging leaders. Success in this role requires a strong blend of product ownership, operational acumen, and inspirational leadership that aligns with DaVita's core values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Product Leadership & Roadmap Execution:
  • • Defines and drives a multi-quarter roadmap that aligns with DaVita's enterprise strategy.
    • Manages prioritization across multiple products and ensures delivery of business value.
    • Connects product strategy across ROPS and other DaVita lanes, anticipating downstream implications and opportunities.
Feature Development, Insights & Executions
  • • Leads ideation and solutioning for new product features by synthesizing data, research, and stakeholder feedback.
    • Ensures excellence in product requirements and user stories while mentoring teams on user-centric design.
    • Sets and monitors product success metrics, leads user acceptance testing, and iterates based on insights.
    • Drives alignment with legal, compliance, and risk to ensure safe and scalable implementation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Team Development
  • • Builds high-performing, cross-functional teams and cultivates leadership within the product lane.
    • Establishes strong collaboration with business, IT, and operational stakeholders.
    • Leads key communications and presentations tailored to executive and cross-functional audiences.
    • Mentors analysts and associates, contributing to their development and building a pipeline of future leaders.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, computer science, software engineering, marketing, communications or healthcare
  • 6+ years of product experience in an agile environment, focused on digital products or Experience leading business transformation initiatives from concept through implementation with tangible impact on operating/financial performance
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale product initiatives from vision to execution
  • Strong strategic thinking, organizational agility, and stakeholder influence
  • Experience mentoring others and developing leadership capability within a team
  • Strong relationship building skills & ability to partner with technical & senior business stakeholders to accomplish goals
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations or IT environments
TRAVEL AND TIME REQUIREMENTS

Travel: up to 15% of time as required

Nights/Weekends: As needed to meet project objectives (releases, etc.)

Salary/ Wage Range
$76,000.00 - $129,000.00 / year
