GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Sr. Patient Education Designer is a member of the Patient Education Solutions Team and is responsible for designing patient-facing education content for a range of our websites, applications, and clinical programs. This role will be assigned specific illustration and motion design projects to develop independently and/or collaboratively. This includes developing visual story that accompanies the content while closely following the established brand and style. All content will be support engaging experiences for our patients (and other audiences as needed). This role will be seen as a leading individual contributor to innovation for illustration and motion design. The Sr. Patient Education Designer will have a focus on continuous improvement to drive engagement and visual interest in different ways for our audiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design illustrated and animated education content to support complex health topics for patients
- Produce printed material as needed
- Mentor and guide Designers
- Other duties as assigned
Required
- 6-8 years of experience
- High School Diploma
- Portfolio demonstrating prior experience
- Expert skill level in illustration and motion design along with adult education and storytelling approaches and methodologies
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Expert skill level in macOS, Adobe Creative Suite, storyboarding and collaboration and willing to learn new software as necessary
- Proficient in understanding and applying specific brand and style guidelines to patient-facing creative deliverables
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
- Experience working with creative teams
- Bachelor's Degree
- Expert in design industry standards, best practices, and trends
- Experience leading design workshops

$75,000.00 - $110,000.00 / year
