Regional Operations Director - Northern Virginia (Fairfax / Reston Region)

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking an inspiring, results-driven leader to oversee a high-performing region across Northern Virginia, including Fairfax, Reston, Sterling, Herndon, Vienna, Arlington, Leesburg, Annandale, Chantilly, and Ashburn.

This role leads 10 dialysis centers, 200 teammates, and a $30M-$50M P&L, with full accountability for operational excellence, growth, and patient care outcomes.

As a Regional Operations Director (ROD), you will drive both strategy and execution. You'll partner closely with a Divisional Vice President to shape growth strategies, deliver exceptional clinical outcomes, and ensure DaVita remains a model for high-quality, value-based healthcare.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead & inspire a team of 10-12 direct reports to deliver safe, compliant, and compassionate patient care.
  • Drive growth by leading key initiatives, increasing patient census, and executing successful acquisitions and integrations.
  • Deliver results with clear accountability for key metrics across clinical, financial, and operational performance.
  • Develop and execute strategic operating plans that strengthen quality, efficiency, and teammate engagement.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and proactively assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Work closely with Facility Administrators to address employee and patient concerns, building a culture of trust and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a candidate that has demonstrated success in the following areas:
  • Leadership for a multi-site operational business.
  • Experience leading a unified team.
  • Experience identifying and committed to growth in your territory
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Available for moderate travel (25%-35% overnight).

The Salary Range for the role is $121,200.00 - $177,900.00 per year.
