PCT At a Glance:
  • Paid Training: Full Time 10 to 12 weeks, Monday through Saturday program to include 4 days (3 floor days and 1 theory day).
  • Full Time: Base of 3 to 4 workdays rotating at 10 to 12-hour shifts, to be a minimum of 30 hours a week.
  • Rotation: Monday through Saturday (may flex), with Sundays based on holidays. Schedule to be provided a month in advance.
  • Schedule: Starting and ending times can range from 4:00 am to 9:00 pm with opening, mid, and closing shifts.
  • Hands-On Care: Monitor, educate, and provide care for up to 4 patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment. Please note you will be exposed to blood and needles.
  • Relationships: Support your community and build relationships by caring for patients local to your town.
What does a successful PCT look like?
  • High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles, mixing acid or bicarb
  • Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for other people in need
  • Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities at a time
  • Healthcare experience a plus including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
