This position participates in a variety of projects with company-wide impact related to DaVita's patient care/clinical processes. This position evaluates and/or performs potential process improvements, clinical trend analyses, business modeling, physician relations, and development and implementation of clinical initiatives. The Manager, Clinical Improvement, also provides leadership to the Clinical Program Managers within Pharma Ops Support Services

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION % OF TIME

1.

Drive clinical initiatives for the Pharma Ops Support Services portfolio, as assigned by the Director, Clinical Improvement
  • Analyze clinical data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze and develop process to promote efficiency and improve effectiveness of clinical programs and initiatives
  • Lead and/or participate in clinical pilots
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive completion of assigned project tasks
  • Develop and execute process training plans

Teammate Management
  • Provide leadership and develop roles and responsibilities for direct reports
  • Manage all teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, evaluations, and disciplinary actions with appropriate approvals as required
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, education opportunities and other talent development activities and resources for direct reports
  • Support direct reports in understanding organizational goals, objectives and expectations

Support outlier management and formulary exception review processes as an anemia subject matter expert

Serve as, or assign and oversee a direct report as, the village lead for Facility Anemia Manager (FAM) support

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

Level III - Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic). No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids or other hazardous conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $100,000.00 - $147,000.00 per year.

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour

Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
