The Development Principal Engineer for Data Intelligence is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data intelligence solutions to drive informed business decisions. This hands-on role involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to transform raw data into actionable information, enabling the organization to better understand its customers, operations, and market trends. The Principal Engineer will work on complex data-related projects, providing technical leadership and guidance to other engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable data intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data intelligence solutions, including data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization components.
  • Data Collection and Integration: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to gather data from diverse sources, such as databases, CRM systems, web analytics, social media, and other relevant channels.
  • Data Processing and Quality: Implement data cleaning, transformation, and quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Apply statistical techniques, data mining, machine learning, and other analytical methods to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within the data.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Technology and Tools: Evaluate, recommend, and implement data intelligence technologies and tools to enhance data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to other engineers, promoting best practices in data intelligence development and ensuring code quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions. Communicate technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data intelligence solutions, optimizing for speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and adhere to data governance policies and procedures to protect data assets.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $146,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year.

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour

Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
