West Region Community Affairs Lead

The West Region Community Affairs Lead / Sr. Manager will serve as the strategic lead and expert in community affairs, relations and engagement to support brand awareness, membership retention and growth. The MHCA will also support CVS Health Enterprise in localizing initiatives at the community level.
Required Qualifications
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with senior leadership across the Enterprise, representing all lines of business, to identify and execute collaborative marketing opportunities that align with local market growth and retention goals. This includes close partnership with key internal stakeholders such as Aetna Businesses and Marketing teams, CVS Health's Corporate Social Responsibility, Impact Investments, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Medical Affairs, and Workforce Initiatives teams to align on shared goals, amplify community impact, and ensure cohesive messaging and execution across initiatives.
- Leverage CVS Health grants and resources in-market as appropriate.
- Lead efforts to reply substantively to RFPs/Finalist Presentation requests from business segments regarding community presence and engagement.
- Research and suggest appropriate marketing opportunities (including but not limited to event and sponsorships) in respective markets / region.
- Develop and deploy tactics that are repeatable, scalable, measurable, engaging and differentiate the Aetna brand to support growth and retention in local markets by accessing competitor intelligence, multicultural insights, community relations opportunities, media and communications strategies, volunteerism and employee giving.
- Establish and maintain not-for-profit and for-profit community partnerships that fuel local market growth
- Ability to manage key internal and external partners
- Serve as a thought-leader with local organizations (multi-cultural, faith-based, community, business, broker/consultant, trade, etc.) in order to better understand community health needs, as well as to create Aetna brand goodwill.
- Effectively manage and influence local social media efforts with a particular emphasis on LinkedIn and local community media outlets to create deeper engagement with local communities.
- Available evenings and weekends as needed to participate in important community activities.
- Willingness and ability to travel.

The typical pay range for this role is:$75,400.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
