Warehouse Stocker: Part-Time (1st Shift)

The Stock Handler will cut and prep all merchandise for the order selector. Colleagues are expected to keep work area neat and organized, adhere to all DC housekeeping practices (Clean as you go, etc.). Perform other duties as assigned by Dept. Supervisor, Lead or Shift Manager. Reassignment to other departments occurs as needed. Overview of Basic Job Functions: Stocker
Report to the Split Case Stocking workstation and receive daily assignment and a stocking log sheet.
Proceed to assigned stocking aisle, fill out stocking log sheet and determine first pick-slot location and proceed to that location.
Use RF unit to complete daily work assignments.
Push/pull carts of full pallets of down aisles to pick line locations.
Cross-reference the rack label ID tag with the actual description detailed on the product. After positive ID is made, prep each case by removing the box lid - moon cutting or T-cutting one end of the case and cutting any interior cellophane or plastic wrap. This is done with an approved carton cutter. Product is then placed in the correct pick-slot, one case at a time. Repeat procedure for all items on all pallets assigned.
Stack cases of merchandise from Chase or Back-up location on pallet jack and cut accordingly with a safety razor knife.
Maintain up to date and accurate recording of Stockers' and production sheets.
Place damaged merchandise in designated areas and consolidate for Inventory Control disposition.
Back stock as needed as you proceed up and down the aisle

Rotate stock by expiration date to ensure product freshness.
Other duties as assigned.

Must meet or exceed in all performance areas (productivity, quality, attendance, safety, teamwork). Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally.
Ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, reach, and stoop on a continuous basis.
Ability to frequently and repetitively lift up to 80 pounds, occasionally to 100 pounds.
Ability to work at and above ground level in multi-level modules.
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be certified or have ability to be certified on all equipment needed to complete job tasks.
Able to work within a team and work independently with minimal supervision to complete assignments within established schedules and deadlines. Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$16.00 - $23.56This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
