The Workday Integrations Technical Lead will support the implementation and development of all Workday integrations. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure integrations are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business needs.The Technical Lead will help with ongoing support and monitoring of all integrations between Workday HCM and various internal and external systems ensuring best practices are followed for efficiency and scalability. This is a key role in ensuring seamless data flow across an organization's ecosystem, driving the successful implementation and optimizing Workday integrations.   • Integration Strategy and Planning: Implementing end-to-end process of designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations, including scoping requirements, creating technical specs, and ensuring successful production deployments.
    • Developing Integration Plans: Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define integration strategies that support business goals.
    • Defining Integration Architecture: Designing scalable and robust integration architectures to support data exchange between Workday and other enterprise and third-party systems.
    • Identifying Integration Points: Identifying and mapping all data fields and flows between Workday and third-party applications or systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Working with internal and external partners to ensure integration designs meet business and vendor requirements, facilitating sessions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Liaising with IT, HR Product and Business Teams: Collaborating with HR, finance, IT, product and business teams to ensure all integration requirements are met and any changes to systems or business processes are accounted for.
    • Vendor Coordination: Working with third-party vendors and system owners to ensure smooth integration with external systems like payroll providers, benefits platforms, and other cloud applications
  • Production Support: Helping with ongoing support and monitoring of all integrations, managing inbound and outbound issues, and leading incident resolution processes. Acting as a point of contact for resolving integration-related issues, both during the implementation phase and after go-live
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying current on emerging Workday features, updates, and trends to ensure that all integrations follow best practices and are optimized for efficiency and scalability.
  • Documenting Integration Workflows: Creating detailed documentation of integration workflows, system configurations, and error handling procedures for ongoing support and troubleshooting. Ensuring integrations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and data security standards.
  • Training and Support: Guiding and mentoring developers, analysts, and other technical staff on the integration tools and processes, ensuring proper adoption and understanding of the Workday system.
  • Fostering Collaboration: Building strong relationships across teams to facilitate collaboration and ensure that integration efforts are aligned with broader organizational objectives.
  • Project Management: Managing Timelines and Resources : Overseeing integration projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. This includes managing resources, milestones, and communication among stakeholders. Risk Management : Identifying potential risks during integration projects and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years' hands-on experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and other relevant tools
  • 6+ years' experience partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 5+ years' experience resolving complex technical issues related to Workday integrations using strong analytical skills
  • 3+ years leading a team of Workday engineers in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • 2+ years' experience translating business needs into technical requirements
  • 2+ years' experience with Workday SOAP API, REST API, JSON, and Import API pattern
  • 2+ years' experience in Workday reporting, calculated fields and Studio
  • 2+ years' experience with Workday security, Core HCM business processes, and alerts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Integrations Pro certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
