A Pharmacy Technician is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner .As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your Pharmacy Technician skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will collaborate with a team of talented individuals in a concerted team effort under the direct supervision of Team Lead s and Pharmacy Supervisors.The ideal candidate will possess high elevated levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and critical thinking skills.POSIITON SUMMARY:

As a p harmacy t echnician working in the pharmacy , you will be responsible for many aspects of the mail order prescription process . You may be asked to work in any or all of the following areas; m anually fill or pack both refrigerated and ambient temperature medicines , fill medicines for automated machines or pack orders using automated packing machinery and support the shipping handler department such as; manually metering packages and placement of packages to be sorted for shipment.The pay for this role is $18.16 (plus shift differentials of $1.00/hr. for 2nd shift and $1.25/hr. for Sunday) with opportunities to advance. This is a full-time position with no direct customer interaction, guaranteed 40 hours per week, and premium pay for consistent weekends or company holidays worked. We offer :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have a current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License or be willing to apply for a Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time .
• Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/ stoop /walk and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Detail focused and task orientated.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• R egular and predictable attendance .
• W ork mandatory overtime when needed based on business needs.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam successfully passed by December 31st of your 2nd Illinois Pharmacy Technician License renewal.
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Formal Pharmacy Technician training
• Pharmacy Technician experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024

EDUCATION:

• Verifiable High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required .

The typical pay range for this role is:$17.00 - $31.30This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
